SAN ANTONIO, TX, May 8, 2025— The CEA Alliance, a leading voice for the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry, has appointed Skip Hulett to its Board of Directors. Hulett serves as Chief Legal Officer at NatureSweet, a leading CEA fresh produce company utilizing greenhouse technology and innovative growing methods based in San Antonio, Texas.

Since joining NatureSweet in 2018, Hulett has played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid growth and has led several major initiatives — including guiding NatureSweet to become the largest CEA company in the world to achieve B Corp certification. A former state district court judge and founder of a successful law firm, Hulett brings deep legal expertise and a passion for sustainable practices. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas as well as the Association of Corporate Counsel.

“I’m honored to join the CEA Alliance board and the opportunity to support an industry that’s redefining how we grow healthy food and working to expand greenhouse production in the United States,” said Skip Hulett, Chief Legal Officer at NatureSweet. “I look forward to working with fellow board members to promote innovation, shape smart U.S. policy, and ensure controlled environment agriculture is recognized as a critical part of a resilient, sustainable food system in America.”

Hulett joins an accomplished board comprising professionals from throughout North America.
